In early April, I made the post Can You Guess The TV Show?, asking readers to guess some pretty iconic TV shows from three visual clues about each show—a poster series created by the wonderful folks at re:design. This month they created another series of awesome posters, this time with iconic painters. Take a look below and see how many you can guess…but don’t cheat by scrolling to the bottom for answers! How did you do? Comment away :)
From top left to right: Andy Warhol, Johan Vermeer, Vincent van Gogh, Jacques-Louis David, Piet Mondrian, Frida Kahlo, René Magritte, Jackson Pollock, Pablo Picasso, Mark Rothko, Paul Cézanne, Salvador Dali, Georgia O’Keeffe, Georges de La Tour, Roy Lichtenstein, Claude Monet, Rembrandt van Rijn, Jasper Johns, Damien Hirst, Henri Matisse, Edgar Degas, Marc Chagall, Gustave Courbet, Marcel Duchamp.

It seems that I keep coming across some really wonderful minimalist Pixar poster series, and of course I have to share :) Check out my first and second post, with series created by Wonchan Lee and Andrea Nguyen.
As I was surfing Etsy (my newest obsession, as I seem to have gotten myself to start making some of my own jewelry), I came across a fantastic set of minimalist Pixar posters by Marcus, owner of the Poster Inspired store. In his work, Marcus’ main goal was to design in the most minimalistic way, while making sure to distinctly capture the essence of each movie. He even included the new movie Brave in the series! Check out his awesome work below, and visit his store to purchase the prints ($8 each).
